Board of Directors, Maryland Association of Counties, 2008. Member, Somerset County Farm Bureau; Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company (past president); O. T. Beauchamp Post 94, American Legion, Princess Anne; Crisfield Elks Lodge; Salisbury Moose Lodge; Princess Anne Lions Club (past president); Little League. Member, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Princess Anne (past vestry member). Married; two children. Died in Princess Anne, Maryland, October 9, 2010.
