Hours of Operation

Directions to the Dr. Edward C. Papenfuse State Archives Building at 350 Rowe Boulevard, Annapolis, MD 21401.

The public search room is open

Tuesday through Friday and most Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Archives is closed

Sunday, Monday, the 1st Saturday of every month, and Saturdays of holiday weekends.

Records are pulled

Every half hour starting at 8:45 with the last pull of the day at 3:45. On Saturdays, due to limited staffing, the Searchroom and Microfilm Rooms remain open to the public between 11:30 and 1:30, but record pulls are not performed at 11:45, 12:15, 12:45 and 1:15.

September: Monday, September 3rd
October: Monday, October 8th
November: Tuesday, November 6th; Monday, November 12th; Wednesday, November 21st; Thursday, November 22nd & Friday, November 23rd
December: Monday, December 24th; Tuesday, December 25th & Monday, December 31st
