Fled from Slavery, Kent County, Maryland 1856

Biography:

Thomas Parker escaped from Kent County, Maryland with fellow slaves Sam Davis, Abe Fineer, William Henry Thompson, and Henry Saunders.  Though little has yet been recovered about his life after escape, Thomas Parker reached Philadelpha, Pennsylvania in 1856.  He was aided there by individuals connected with the Underground Railroad.
