Fled from slavery, Baltimore County, Maryland, 1835

Biography:

Charles Brown was charged with being a runaway slave and committed to the Baltimore jail on December 30, 1884.  He was the property of John Ridgely, and it was reported in the Baltimore Jail Runaway Docket February 10, 1835 "Rec'd from D.W. Hudson, Warden, the body of Chas. Brown for J.S. Skinner."Brown was released and delivered to J.S. Skinner on February 10, 1835.
