Octobr 11th 1678.
Then Benjamin Rozer Esqr as Attorney of Dominick Bodkin &
Redmond ffitzgerarld acknowledged satisfaction of two judgemts
obtained agt John ffaning the fourth day of Octobr Anno Doni 1677
One thereof obtained by the said Dominick agt the said John ffaning
for three thousand nine hundred fifty foure pounds of tobacco debt
with Seven hundred twenty three pounds of tobacco costs of suite
The other judgemt obtained by the said Dominick Bodkin & Red-
mond ffitzgerald agt the said John ffaning for ffiue thousand six
hundred & Eighteen pounds of tobacco debt together with Seven
hundred twenty three pounds of tobacco costs of suite

Octobr IIth 1678.
Then Capt Gerard Slye acknowledged satisfaction of a judgemt
obtained by him agt Benja Rozer Esqr the six & twentieth day of
April Anno Doni 1677 for One hundred seventy seven pounds stert
with One thousand & twelve pounds of tobacco costs of suite

Whereas heretofore to witt the twelfth day of June
in the third yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord
Baltemore &c Annoq Doni 1678 the Sheriffe of
Dorchister County returned an Attachmt to him

directed against the Goods & Chattells of Thomas ffisher att the
suite of Robert Carvile, that he had Attached in the hands of John
Brooke ffiue thousand six hundred Eighty five pounds of tobacco
which was then condemned unto the said Robert he giveing security
according to Act of Assembly in that case made & provided
Now here att this day to witt the Eighth day of Octobr in the
third yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemore &c Annoq
Doni 1678. came the said Robert Carvile with Garrat VanSweringen
his suerty who undertooke for the said Robert in the sume of ffive
thousand six hundred Eighty five pounds of tobacco to make resti-
tucon of the said Sum so Attached as aforesaid to the said Thomas
ffisher, in case the said Thomas or his Attorney shall within one
yeare & a day make his just defence to and proceed on in the said
action in comon forme, & make itt appeare that the said Robert
Carvile is satisfied his just demand or any part thereof according
to the true intent & meaning of a certaine Act of Assembly in that
case made & provided


Allowed to Joseph Hackney for comeing goeing & attending to
give in his Evidence for Thomas Jones & Jane his wife agt Thomas
Spinke One hundred & fifty pounds of tobacco
