Governor was pleased to signify he would receive the Address in an
Hour's Time in the Conference Chamber.
Ordered, That Philip Hammond, Esq; and M.r John Goldsbor-
ough, do present the Address to his Excellency. Richard Lee, Esq ;
from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker the following Mes-
sage, viz.

Gentlemen,
This House agrees to the Ordinance, impowering the Governor to
appoint a Person to receive and indent for the Proportion of Arms
and Ammunition his Majesty has been pleased to order for our Use,
and for impowering the Treasurers to defray the Expence of bring-
ing the same into this Province, and has signed the same accordingly.

Your Committee, at the Desire of the Commissions, did count
over, and see destroyed, by burning to Ashes, the following torn
and defaced Bills, amounting to the Sum of £110: 2 viz.
